The Sendero a la Laguna de los Tres trailhead is located at the northern end of El Chaltén, where Avenida San Martín ends. From the center of town, simply walk north along Avenida San Martín until you reach the clearly marked trailhead and parking area. The walk from most accommodations in El Chaltén to the trailhead is typically no more than 15-20 minutes. There is no public transportation within El Chaltén, as it is a small, walkable town. Parking is free at the trailhead parking lot, but it can fill up quickly during peak season, so arriving early is recommended. From the trailhead, follow the signs for 'Sendero al Fitz Roy' or 'Laguna de los Tres'.
