Getting There

    From Foz do Iguaçu city center, take a bus to the Iguaçu National Park. Buses run frequently. At the park entrance, purchase an entry ticket (approximately R$97 for foreign tourists). Once inside the park, take the park's shuttle service to the Macuco Safari area. The shuttle schedule should be checked upon arrival. Bus fare is around R$4-5.

  • Car

    Drive to the Iguaçu National Park entrance. From the park entrance, follow the main road until the junction for BR 469. Turn left onto BR 469 and continue for approximately 6 km. Macuco Safari is located at km 25 on BR 469. Look for the signage on the right. Parking is available, but a fee may apply. The National Park entrance fee is approximately R$97 for foreign tourists.

  • Walking

    If already inside Iguaçu National Park, follow the designated trails to Macuco Safari. From the main trailhead, follow the signs for Macuco Safari, approximately a 2 km walk through the rainforest. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Note that you still need to purchase the Macuco Safari ticket to participate in the boat ride and other activities.
