Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from a central location in Litoral. Head northeast on Route 12 towards the city of Posadas. Continue on Route 12 for approximately 250 kilometers (about 3 hours) until you reach the junction with Route 101. Take Route 101 to the right, which will lead you directly towards the entrance of Iguazu National Park. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Iguazu Falls. There is a parking fee at the park entrance, so prepare to pay approximately 500 ARS (Argentine Pesos) for parking.

• Bus

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from major cities in Litoral, such as Corrientes or Resistencia, to Puerto Iguazú. Several bus companies operate in this region, and the trip typically takes around 18-20 hours. Once you arrive in Puerto Iguazú, you can take a local bus or taxi to the entrance of Iguazu National Park. Bus tickets will generally cost around 3,000 ARS. At the park, the entrance fee is approximately 1,500 ARS.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  For a more comfortable journey, you can hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing service from Puerto Iguazú to the Iguazu Falls. The ride from the town center to the park entrance will take about 20 minutes and should cost around 1,500-2,000 ARS depending on traffic and the specific pickup location. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand or check the estimated fare in the app.

• Local Shuttle

  Several hotels and hostels in Puerto Iguazú offer shuttle services to the entrance of Iguazu National Park. If you are staying in one of these accommodations, inquire at the front desk about shuttle service availability and any associated costs. The shuttle typically runs at scheduled times in the morning and afternoon.
