Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, enter the Iguazu Falls National Park via the main entrance located on Route 12. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the various viewpoints. The main parking area, located near the park entrance, allows you to park your car and access the footpaths leading to the falls. Note that there is an entrance fee of approximately 1,800 Argentine Pesos (as of 2023) per person.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From the town of Puerto Iguazú, you can take a local bus to the Iguazu Falls National Park. Look for the bus labeled 'Iguazu Falls' at the central bus terminal. The ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around 150 Argentine Pesos. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee of approximately 1,800 Argentine Pesos (as of 2023) to access the trails leading to the falls.

• Park Shuttle

  Inside Iguazu Falls National Park, there is a shuttle service that takes you to various points of interest, including the main viewing areas of the falls. The shuttle operates frequently throughout the day and is included in your entrance fee. Be sure to check the schedule at the park entrance to plan your visit effectively.

• Walking

  Once you are in the park, walking is the best way to explore the trails. Follow the designated paths leading to the different viewing platforms, such as the Lower Circuit and Upper Circuit. Both circuits provide stunning views of the falls and take approximately 1-2 hours to complete each, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as areas can be humid and warm.
