Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from El Chaltén or El Calafate. From El Calafate, take Route 11 for about 70 km towards the north. Then, merge onto Route 40 and continue for approximately 50 km until you reach the entrance of Los Glaciares National Park. Be sure to pay the park entrance fee, which is around ARS 800 per person (as of 2023). Once inside the park, follow the signs toward Lago Argentino. You will need to park at the designated area near the boat launch.
