If you are traveling by car, start from El Chaltén, which is approximately 220 kilometers away from Upsala Glacier. Drive on Route 23 southbound until you reach the junction with Route 40. Continue on Route 40 towards the west until you reach the town of El Calafate. From El Calafate, head towards the Lago Argentino, following the signs to the port of Punta Bandera. The road leading to the port is well-marked. There is a parking area at the port where you can leave your car. Note that parking fees may apply.
