From El Chaltén, head south on Ruta 40 for approximately 22 kilometers until you reach the junction with Ruta 11. Turn left onto Ruta 11 and continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Los Glaciares National Park. Follow the signs for 'Mirador del Upsala' for another 15 kilometers until you reach the designated parking area. From the parking area, it is a short hike of about 1 kilometer to the viewpoint.
