If you're driving, ensure you have a reliable GPS or a map. From El Chaltén, take Route 23 south towards Lago Viedma. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn onto Route 40 south. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Los Glaciares National Park. After paying the entrance fee (around ARS 800, subject to change), follow the signs to the Centro de visitantes, which is located approximately 5 kilometers from the entrance.

Public Transportation
If traveling by bus, you can take a bus from El Chaltén to the park entrance. Buses run daily, costing around ARS 500. Upon arrival at the park entrance, you'll need to pay the entrance fee (approximately ARS 800). From the entrance, you can either walk the 5 kilometers to the Centro de visitantes or arrange for a taxi to take you there.
