Car
If you're driving, start from Puerto Natales, which is approximately 150 km away. Head south on Route 9 towards the Torres del Paine National Park. After about 70 km, merge onto Route Y-150, which leads directly to El Lago Sarmiento. The drive will take around 2 hours. Follow the signs for Torres del Paine, and keep an eye out for the stunning landscapes along the route.
Public Transportation
To reach El Lago Sarmiento by public transportation, take a bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park. Several companies operate this route, and the journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to reach El Lago Sarmiento, which is about 15 km away from the entrance.
Taxi
