Walking
El Refugio de Coquena is located a short walk from the center of Purmamarca. From Plaza 9 de Julio, walk along Avenida San Martín in the direction away from Cerro de los Siete Colores. The hotel will be on your right. The walk is generally flat and takes about 10-15 minutes.
Taxi
Taxis are available in Purmamarca, particularly around the main plaza. A short taxi ride from the bus terminal or the center of town to El Refugio de Coquena should cost approximately ARS 300-500. Confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus from San Salvador de Jujuy or Tilcara, disembark at the Purmamarca bus terminal. From there, you can either take a taxi (ARS 300-500) or walk to El Refugio de Coquena. To walk, follow Rivadavia street from the bus station to Av. San Martin, then turn left. The hotel will be on your right. Buses from Jujuy to Purmamarca cost approximately ARS 5900-6300.
