Tours typically cost around 1,500-3,000 ARS per person, including transport and a stop at a scenic viewpoint along the way. The entrance fee to El Hornocal (500 ARS) is usually extra.

  • Self-Drive

    If you have a rental car, you can drive to Mirador del Hornocal from Humahuaca. Head east on Ruta Provincial 73, a gravel road, for approximately 25 kilometers (16 miles). The drive takes around 45 minutes to an hour. Be aware that the road is unpaved and can be steep and bumpy in sections. A standard car can manage if driven slowly and carefully. Check road conditions in Humahuaca before setting out. There is a small entrance fee of 500 ARS per person payable upon arrival.
