Car
If you are driving from Quebrada de Humahuaca, head southwest on Route 9 towards Tumbaya. It's approximately a 45-minute drive (about 30 km). Once you arrive in Tumbaya, look for the signs to Ojos Del Salar. The destination is located just outside the town on the right side of Route 9. Make sure to park safely along the road as there are no official parking areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Ojos Del Salar via public transportation, take a local bus from Quebrada de Humahuaca to Tumbaya. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Tumbaya bus station, it is about a 10-minute walk down Route 9 towards the south to reach Ojos Del Salar. Look for the signs along the way. Ensure to check the bus schedules as services may vary.
