Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards El Chaltén, which is the closest town to Patagonia Hikes. From El Calafate, take Route 40 north for approximately 200 km until you reach the junction with Route 23. Turn left onto Route 23 and drive for about 60 km until you reach El Chaltén. Once in El Chaltén, navigate to Cmte. Arrua 505, where Patagonia Hikes is located. Ensure you have a GPS or a detailed map, as signage can be limited.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transport, take a bus from El Calafate to El Chaltén. Companies such as 'Chaltén Travel' and 'Taqsa' operate regular services, taking about 3 hours and costing around ARS 3,500. Once in El Chaltén, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Cmte. Arrua 505, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus station.

• Taxi

  If you prefer to take a taxi from the El Chaltén bus station to Patagonia Hikes, you can find taxis readily available outside the station. The fare should be around ARS 500 and will take about 5 minutes to reach Cmte. Arrua 505.

  If you're already in El Chaltén and want to enjoy the scenery, consider hiking to Patagonia Hikes. Depending on your starting point in El Chaltén, it could take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace.
