Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from El Chaltén, start by heading south on Avenida San Martín towards Calle 21. Continue straight until you hit the intersection with Calle 10. Turn left onto Calle 10 and follow it until you reach the intersection with Ricardo Arbilla. Turn right onto Ricardo Arbilla and continue straight; Madre E Hija (refugio de montaña) will be on your left at number 72. There is street parking available, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Madre E Hija by public transport, take a local bus or shuttle service from El Chaltén's main bus terminal. Most services will drop you off at a central location. From there, walk south on Avenida San Martín until you reach Calle 10. Turn left onto Calle 10 and then take a right onto Ricardo Arbilla.
