Walking
The Laguna Torre Trailhead is easily accessible on foot from anywhere in the small town of El Chaltén. The official trailhead is located at the end of Los Charitos Street. From the town center, simply walk west towards the edge of town; you'll find clear signs directing you to 'Senda a Laguna Torre'. The walk from the center of El Chalten to the trailhead takes approximately 15-20 minutes. There is no cost associated with walking to the trailhead.

El Chalten is a small town and doesn't have an extensive public transportation system. However, some hostels offer early morning shuttle services to trailheads. Check with your accommodation for availability and schedules. These shuttles typically cost around ARS 2,000-5,000 (approximately $2-$5 USD) per person for a round trip. Confirm the price and schedule with your hostel, as they can vary.

If driving, follow Avenida San Martín west, then turn onto Los Charitos Street. The trailhead is at the end of the street. There is a small parking lot available, but spaces are limited, especially during peak season. Arrive early to secure a spot. Parking is free. As of October 2024, the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares charges an entrance fee of ARS 45,000 (approximately $38 USD) per non-Argentinian person per day.
