Walking
If you're in the center of Tilcara, simply head southwest on Avenida Belgrano towards Calle Sarmiento. Continue on Avenida Belgrano until you reach the intersection with Calle Dr. Eduardo Soruco. Turn left onto Calle Dr. Eduardo Soruco and continue straight until you reach the entrance to Pucará de Tilcara, which will be on your right. The walk is approximately 20 minutes and is quite scenic.

From the center of Tilcara, head southwest on Avenida Belgrano. Continue straight for about 1.5 km. You will see signs for Pucará de Tilcara. Turn right onto the road that leads directly to the archaeological site, where there is parking available. The drive will take about 5 minutes depending on traffic.

Public Transportation
Look for a local minibus or shared taxi (remis) that goes towards Pucará de Tilcara. These can often be found near the main plaza or along Avenida Belgrano. The fare is usually around 30-50 Argentine Pesos. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the entrance of the site.
