Getting There

Walking
Start from the Ushuaia city center, ideally from the main square, Plaza Malvinas. Head southwest on Av. San Martín until you reach the intersection with Av. Maipú. Turn right on Av. Maipú and continue walking until you reach the bus terminal (Terminal de Ómnibus). From the terminal, look for bus line 18 which heads towards the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Board the bus and pay the fare. The bus will take you through scenic routes; enjoy the views. Disembark at the 'Pampa Alta' stop. From here, follow the marked hiking trails towards Mont Olivia. The trail is well-signposted, leading you through beautiful landscapes to the base of the mountain.

Once you reach the base of Mont Olivia, prepare for a hike. The trail can be steep and rocky, so wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water. Follow the established path that leads up the mountain. The hike can take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Be sure to take breaks and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. The summit offers spectacular panoramas of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel.
