From the center of Villa La Angostura, head south on Av. 7 Lagos towards Ruta 40. Continue on Ruta 40 for about 15 kilometers until you see the signs for Cascada Dora. The turn-off will be on your right. After turning, follow the unpaved road for about 1 kilometer until you reach a small parking area near the waterfall. Be aware that the road may be bumpy, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

Take a local bus from Villa La Angostura to the main bus terminal. From there, catch a bus heading towards San Martín de los Andes.
