From the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, head southwest on Route 40. Continue on Route 40 for about 80 km until you reach the junction with Route 1, where you will turn left onto Route 1 towards El Bolsón. Drive approximately 30 km until you reach the town of El Bolsón. Here, you can stop for supplies or food before continuing. From El Bolsón, take Route 6, which will lead you toward Lago Puelo National Park. Follow the signs to Route 16, which will take you to Tronador. The total driving distance is approximately 150 km, and the trip should take around 3 hours.

If you're traveling by bus, you can take a bus from Bariloche to El Bolsón. The journey takes about 2 hours, and tickets can be purchased at the bus terminal in Bariloche, costing around 200 ARS.
