To reach the Heard Museum from Chandler, start by walking to the nearest bus stop. If you're in downtown Chandler, head to the 'Chandler City Hall' stop. Board the Valley Metro Bus Route 156 heading towards the 'Phoenix Central Ave/Van Buren' stop. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer at the 'Van Buren St & 24th St' stop to Route 1. Continue on Route 1 for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Central Ave & McDowell Rd'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Heard Museum located at 2301 N Central Ave.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations available in Chandler. Head north on Arizona Ave towards the US 60 freeway. Connect to the multi-use path along the freeway which will take you straight into Phoenix. Follow the path until you reach Central Ave, then head north for about 2 miles until you arrive at the Heard Museum at 2301 N Central Ave.

If you're in central Chandler, you can take a long walk. Start at the Chandler Center for the Arts and head north on Arizona Ave. Continue walking for about 6 miles; this will take you roughly 2 hours. Once you reach the intersection of Arizona Ave and McDowell Rd, turn left and proceed towards Central Ave. The Heard Museum will be on your right at 2301 N Central Ave.
