Getting There

Driving
From Pearce, Arizona, head north on Dragoon Road, which eventually turns into N Frontier Road. Continue for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto W Turkey Creek Road (Forest Road 41). Follow Forest Road 41 for about 10 miles; the road is rough and unpaved. The Pole Bridge Trailhead will be on your left, with limited parking available along the road. Be aware of flash flood dangers at water crossings, especially after storms. There are no fees for accessing the area or parking.

Hiking
Once at the Pole Bridge Trailhead, the trail heads south along the drainage bottom. The lower end of the trail was impacted by fire and flooding, so follow rock cairns and flagging tape to stay on the correct route. The trail is 3.7 miles long and considered difficult, with an elevation gain of over 2,300 feet. No special transport is needed to access the trailhead once you've driven to it.
