From Flagstaff, head to the Flagstaff City Hall located at 211 W Aspen Ave. Board the 'Sedona Shuttle' bus, which operates daily. Make sure to check the schedule for the next available bus to Sedona. Once you're on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride that takes approximately 45 minutes. When you arrive in Sedona, get off at the 'Sedona Visitor Center' stop. From there, you can either take a taxi or use a rideshare service to reach Bear Mountain Trail. The trailhead is about a 15-minute drive from the Visitor Center.
Shuttle
You can book a shuttle service from Flagstaff directly to Bear Mountain Trail. There are several local companies that offer this service. Make a reservation ahead of time to ensure availability. The shuttle will pick you up from your accommodation in Flagstaff and take you directly to the trailhead. This is a convenient option as you won’t have to worry about navigating public transport.

Once you have your bike, head south on Route 66 towards Sedona. The ride is approximately 30 miles and will take you through some beautiful scenery. As you approach Sedona, follow the signs to Bear Mountain Trail. Note that the last part of the route may have some elevation gain, so be prepared for a workout!
