Driving
From the junction of Routes 89A and 179 in Sedona, drive south on 179 for 1.4 miles to Morgan Road. Turn left (east) onto Morgan Road and continue for 0.6 miles. The trailhead parking will be on the left, just past the end of the pavement and after crossing a cattle guard. Parking is limited, especially during peak season. Note: A Red Rock Pass may be required for parking. Daily passes are $5.
Walking
From the Broken Arrow Trailhead parking area, the trail begins across the jeep road. Follow the signed path, which initially heads south before bearing left and crossing a ledge at the foot of Battlement Mesa. The trail is well-marked with cairns (stacked rocks) to guide you.
