Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head to Sedona, Arizona. From the center of Sedona, take AZ-89A S toward Cottonwood. After about 2.5 miles, turn right onto Red Rock Loop Road. Continue on Red Rock Loop Road for approximately 2 miles, and you will find the entrance to Red Rock State Park on your left at 4050 Red Rock Loop Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336. There is a parking fee of $7 per vehicle for day use.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check the local bus service, known as the Verde Lynx, which operates routes around Sedona. Take the Verde Lynx Route 1 to the last stop at the Sedona Public Library. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to take you to Red Rock State Park, as it is approximately 3 miles away. The cost of a rideshare can vary based on demand but expect to pay around $10 to $15.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to cycle, you can rent a bike in Sedona. Start at the Sedona Bike and Bean or another local rental shop. From there, head south on AZ-89A and then turn onto Red Rock Loop Road. The park entrance will be on your left after about 2 miles. Be prepared for a hilly ride and ensure you have a bike lock and water with you. Note that biking on park trails may have restrictions, so check the park rules upon arrival.
