Getting There

  From Flagstaff, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Arizona Shuttle at the Flagstaff Amtrak Station located at 1 E Route 66. Board the shuttle heading towards Sedona. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Sedona, get off at the Sedona Public Library stop. From there, walk to the intersection of 89A and 179. Take a right onto 179 and walk for about 1 mile until you reach Red Rock Crossing Rd. Turn left onto Red Rock Crossing Rd and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at the Crescent Moon Picnic Site located at 333 Red Rock Crossing Rd.

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Flagstaff. Start from the downtown area and take the Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS) towards the south. Follow the signs towards Sedona. The bike ride will take about 2-3 hours depending on your speed. Once you reach Sedona, make your way to Red Rock Crossing Rd. Follow the road for about 0.5 miles to reach the Crescent Moon Picnic Site.
