Downtown Flagstaff is easily walkable, with most attractions located within a few blocks of each other. From the Flagstaff Amtrak station or nearby hotels, simply head west towards the main streets of San Francisco Street and Aspen Avenue. Heritage Square is a central landmark to aim for.

Public Transport
Mountain Line, Flagstaff's public bus system, has several routes that serve downtown. Check the Mountain Line website or app for schedules and routes. A one-way fare is $1.25 for adults. The Mountain Link offers direct service between NAU, Woodlands Village, and Downtown Flagstaff, and is free for NAU students, faculty, and staff with a university ID.

Parking is available on the street and in several lots in Downtown Flagstaff. Public parking costs $1 per hour. Parking is free outside the managed parking area and after 5 PM on weekends and in City and County lots. Two new surface lots have been added: Aspen Avenue lot (107 West Aspen Ave) and Cherry Avenue lot (101 West Cherry Ave). You can pay at any kiosk, online, or via the Flowbird app ($.23 convenience fee applies).
