Public Bus
Start at the Flagstaff Downtown Connection Center, located at 200 W Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ. Board the Mountain Line bus, Route 10 (Elden Lookout), which operates frequently. You will want to get off at the stop labeled 'US-89 and Elden Pueblo.' From there, it’s about a 0.5-mile walk to the Elden Pueblo Archaeological Site. Head northeast on US-89, then turn left onto the trail leading to the archaeological site, which will be well-marked.
Bicycle
Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Flagstaff, such as Absolute Bikes or Flagstaff Bike Revolution. Start from downtown Flagstaff and head north on N San Francisco St. Continue straight as it becomes US-89. Follow US-89 for approximately 2 miles, and look for the sign indicating the parking area for the Elden Pueblo Archaeological Site. You can lock your bike at the rack provided at the site.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the downtown area of Flagstaff. Head north on N San Francisco St until you hit US-89. Turn right (north) on US-89 and continue walking for about 2 miles. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you will see signage for Elden Pueblo. The archaeological site will be a short walk off the road, accessible via a marked path.
