    Public Bus

    From Flagstaff, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Arizona Shuttle or a local bus heading towards Sedona. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as buses may have limited service. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive in Sedona, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Slide Rock State Park, which is located along AZ-89A.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Flagstaff. Head south on Milton Road and continue to AZ-89A. Follow the bike route signs towards Sedona. The ride is about 30 miles and takes approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Keep in mind that the road may have some steep inclines. Once you reach Slide Rock State Park, there will be designated bike racks for you to secure your bike.

    Walking

    Walking to Slide Rock State Park is not practical due to the distance (approximately 30 miles). However, if you are up for an adventure, you can walk to the Arizona Shuttle terminal in Flagstaff, then take the shuttle to Sedona as described above. From the Sedona drop-off point, it's about a 1.5-mile walk to the entrance of Slide Rock State Park. Follow the signs along AZ-89A to reach your destination.
