To reach Walnut Canyon National Monument from downtown Flagstaff, take the Mountain Line Bus #10, which travels towards the east. Board the bus at the nearest stop on Beaver Street or Route 66. The bus runs approximately every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus until the Walnut Canyon stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs leading to the visitor center and trails. Remember to check the bus schedule for return times.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local shops in downtown Flagstaff. Start your journey by heading east on Route 66, then turn onto Walnut Canyon Road. Follow this road for approximately 7 miles. There are bike lanes for most of the route, making it a safe and scenic ride. Upon reaching the monument, lock your bike at the visitor center before exploring.
