Get off at the stop closest to the Marcus Landslide Trail, which is located in North Scottsdale. Once you get off, follow the signs to the trailhead, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Gilbert. Start heading north towards the Greenfield Rd bike path. Follow the bike path until you reach the Arizona Canal Trail. Continue riding along the trail until you reach the northern part of Scottsdale.
