  • Public Bus

    If you are in downtown Gilbert, head to the nearest bus stop and take Valley Metro Bus Route 102 toward Phoenix. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 24th St & Camelback Rd. From there, transfer to Bus Route 75 heading north. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop at Piestewa Peak Dr. Walk east for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve at 2701 Piestewa Peak Dr.

  • Bicycle

    From Gilbert Town Square, start by heading west on Gilbert Rd. Continue straight onto Baseline Rd and then take a left onto 24th St. Ride north for about 4 miles until you reach Camelback Rd. Turn right on Camelback Rd, and after approximately 1 mile, turn left onto Piestewa Peak Dr. The entrance to the Phoenix Mountains Preserve will be on your left after about half a mile.

  • Walking

    If you are close to the Gilbert Heritage District, begin by walking north on Gilbert Rd until you reach the intersection with Warner Rd. Continue onto Warner Rd heading west until you reach 24th St. Turn left and walk on 24th St north until you reach Camelback Rd. From there, walk west on Camelback Rd for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Piestewa Peak Dr. The entrance of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve will be on your left after approximately half a mile.
