    Walking

    If you are near Grand Canyon Village, you can walk to Trail View Overlook. From the El Tovar Hotel, walk west on Historic Route 66 for about 0.5 miles until you reach the South Rim Trail. Follow the South Rim Trail heading west for approximately 0.2 miles. You will see Trail View Overlook along the trail with clear signage. The pathway is well-maintained and offers scenic views along the way.

    Public Transport

    From the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, board the free Hermit Road (Red Route) shuttle bus. Check the shuttle schedule at the Visitor Center or online. Ride the shuttle and disembark at the 'Trail View Overlook' stop. The overlook is a short walk from the shuttle stop. The shuttle is free.

    Car

    From the Grand Canyon Village area, head south on Village Loop Drive until you reach the intersection with South Entrance Road. Turn left onto South Entrance Road and continue for about 0.5 miles. Look for signs directing you to Trail View Overlook. The parking area will be on your right, near the overlook. Parking is free, but can fill up quickly.
