From the center of Kingman, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Route 1 bus towards the Kingman Airport. Ride the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Airport & Route 66'. From that stop, head south on Route 66 for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E Andy Devine Ave. Continue straight for another 0.8 miles. After passing the intersection with E Beale St, look for a dirt path on your left leading towards the hills. Follow this path for approximately 0.4 miles until you arrive at Mariposa Mine.

Start at the Kingman Visitor Center located at 120 W Andy Devine Ave. Rent a bicycle from a local rental service if you don’t have one. Head west on Andy Devine Ave for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Route 66. Turn left onto Route 66 and continue south for about 2 miles. You’ll then reach the intersection with E Beale St. Turn left and continue for another 0.5 miles. Look for a dirt path on your right that leads towards the hills. Follow this path for about 0.4 miles to reach Mariposa Mine.

If you are near the Kingman Main Street, start walking south on Main St towards E Beale St. After about 0.4 miles, turn right onto E Beale St. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach Route 66. Turn left onto Route 66 and walk for another 0.5 miles. You’ll see a dirt path on your right leading to the hills. Follow this path for approximately 0.4 miles until you arrive at Mariposa Mine.
