Public Bus
If you are in Mesa, head to the nearest Valley Metro bus stop. You can catch Route 30 towards Phoenix. The bus will take you directly to the Phoenix area. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the exact times. Once you arrive at the bus stop closest to 222 E Monroe St, get off at the stop on Washington St and 3rd Ave. From there, walk east on Washington St for about 3 blocks until you reach 2nd Ave. Turn left and head north on 2nd Ave until you reach E Monroe St. The Herberger Theater Center will be on your left at 222 E Monroe St.
Light Rail
To take the light rail, first make your way to the nearest light rail station in Mesa, which is the Mesa Downtown Station. Board the light rail heading towards the Sycamore/Main Street station. After several stops, transfer at the 1st Ave/Washington station in Phoenix. From there, walk east on Washington St for about 3 blocks. At 2nd Ave, turn left and walk north until you reach E Monroe St. The Herberger Theater Center will be on your left at 222 E Monroe St.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you can rent a bicycle in Mesa. Start by heading towards the light rail station and follow the bike lanes to get there. Once you reach Phoenix, follow the paths that lead you towards downtown. Head west on Washington St until you reach 2nd Ave, then turn left and bike north until you arrive at the Herberger Theater Center located at 222 E Monroe St.
Walking
If you are already in downtown Mesa, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the Herberger Theater Center. Head west on Main St until you reach the light rail station area. From there, continue walking towards the light rail tracks and follow the path towards Phoenix. It's about a 10-mile walk, so make sure you're prepared with water and comfortable shoes. Once you enter Phoenix, follow Washington St until you reach 2nd Ave, turn left, and you will find the Herberger Theater Center on your left at 222 E Monroe St.
