From downtown Phoenix, take the Valley Metro Light Rail from the 1st Avenue/Main Street station heading towards Mesa. Ride for 4 stops until you reach the 44th Street/Washington station. Transfer to Bus Route 1 at the bus stop outside the station. Take Bus Route 1 heading south for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 48th Street and Baseline Road. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles south on 48th Street until you reach the entrance to South Mountain Park. Enter the park and follow the signs to Scott Ridge Trail, which leads to Observation Point.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike rental service in Phoenix. Start from downtown and head south on 7th Avenue. Continue down to Baseline Road and then turn east.
