Begin your journey by taking a Valley Metro Light Rail train from any central location in Phoenix. You can board the light rail at stations such as 1st Ave/Jefferson or Central Ave/Camelback. Make sure to purchase a ticket at the station before boarding. Ride the light rail towards the Mesa direction and disembark at the 44th St/Washington station. From there, you will need to switch to a bus.

At the 44th St/Washington station, head to the bus stop and take the Valley Metro Bus Route 44. This bus will head eastbound on Washington Street. Remain on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at 36th St/Colter St. Make sure to check the bus schedule for any changes in service times.

After disembarking from the bus at 36th St/Colter St, walk north on 36th St until you reach E Colter St. Turn left onto E Colter St and continue walking west. You will soon see the entrance to Phoenix Bat Cave at 3698-3694 E Colter St. The cave is located in a natural area, so be prepared for a short walk through a park-like setting to reach the main viewing area.
