    If you're already near Glendale Community College, start there and walk north along 59th Ave for about 0.8 miles, then turn west onto Cactus Rd. Continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles, and McGill Homestead will be on your left. This is a pleasant walk through a residential area.

    From downtown Glendale, take Valley Metro Bus Route 83 towards 'Arrowhead Towne Center'. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop and pay approximately $2.00 for a single ride. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Cactus Rd & 67th Ave'. After getting off the bus, walk north on 67th Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach W. Cactus Rd. Turn right on Cactus Rd and continue for another 0.3 miles. McGill Homestead will be on your left.
