    From downtown Tempe, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Valley Metro Bus Route 66. This route travels directly towards Papago Park. You will need to pay a fare of $2.00 for a single ride, which can be paid using cash or a credit/debit card. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the 'Galvin Parkway & McDowell Rd' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance.

    Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Tempe. Once you have your bike, head north on Mill Avenue towards McDowell Road, then take a left on McDowell Road. Follow this road until you reach Galvin Parkway. Turn right on Galvin Parkway, and Papago Park will be on your left. This route is approximately 3 miles and should take you around 15-20 minutes to cycle.
