To reach the Tempe History Museum via public transit, you can take the Valley Metro Bus. Look for Bus Route 61 or 66 which stops near the museum. If you are starting from Tempe Town Lake, head to the nearest bus stop and board the bus heading towards Southern Avenue. Get off at the 'Southern Ave & McClintock Dr' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk east on Southern Avenue until you reach the museum. A one-way fare on the bus typically costs $2.00.
