The Tom Mix Memorial is located on Arizona State Route 79, approximately 18 miles south of Florence, AZ. From Florence, head south on AZ-79 (Pinal Pioneer Parkway). The memorial is situated between mile markers 115 and 116 on the west side of the highway. There is a rest stop and parking available at the site. There are no fees to visit the memorial.

Public bus service in Florence is provided by Sun Valley Express. Route 1 (Main Street) has hourly service Monday through Saturday. Route 2 (Florence Blvd & Mesquite St) has service Monday through Friday. From the bus stop, you may need to take a taxi or ride-sharing service to the Tom Mix Memorial, which is located outside of town on Route 79. Taxi and ride-share services are available in Florence. A one-way bus fare is approximately $1. A short taxi or ride-share trip may cost around $10-$15.
