From there, follow the trails marked for Thumb Butte. The trailhead is located at the end of Thumb Butte Road, which is a short uphill walk from the parking area.

Take a right on Gurley Street, and head straight for approximately 0.5 miles. Once you approach the Prescott National Forest entrance, you can access the biking trails that lead towards Thumb Butte. Make sure to follow the signs for Thumb Butte Trail as you navigate through the forest.
