Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Prescott, head southwest on W Gurley St toward S Montezuma St. Continue on AZ-89 S for about 3.5 miles. Take the exit towards AZ-89A N, and merge onto AZ-89A. After approximately 0.7 miles, turn left onto Copper Basin Rd. Continue on this road for about 6 miles until you reach the Prescott National Forest entrance. Once in the forest, follow the signs to Butte Creek Trail. Note that there may be a small parking fee for the National Forest.

    Take the Yavapai Regional Transit bus service from Prescott to the nearest bus stop on AZ-89.
