Bus
From the center of Prescott, head to the Prescott Valley Transit Center located at 7501 E. Florentine Road. Take the Verde Lynx bus towards Clarkdale, which runs several times a day. Once you arrive at the Clarkdale stop, walk north on Broadway for about 0.5 miles until you reach 300 N Broadway, where the Verde Canyon Railroad is located.

Walking
If you are in downtown Prescott, you can take a scenic walk to the Verde Canyon Railroad. Start at the historic courthouse in the center of Prescott and head east on Gurley Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection of AZ-89A. Cross the highway and follow the path that leads to the bridge over the Verde River. Continue following the path until you reach Clarkdale. Once in Clarkdale, turn left on Broadway and continue walking until you reach 300 N Broadway.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Prescott. Start on Miller Valley Road and head south towards AZ-89A. Follow AZ-89A until you reach Clarkdale. Once in Clarkdale, turn left on Broadway and bike north for about 0.5 miles to reach the Verde Canyon Railroad at 300 N Broadway.
