The home's name, Falcon's Nest, is inspired by its resemblance to a mountainside bird's nest and the peregrine falcons that inhabit the area. The location on the slopes of Thumb Butte, a prominent landmark in the Sierra Prieta mountain range, provides stunning views stretching up to 120 miles, including the San Francisco Peaks, Humphrey's Peak, and Bill Williams Mountain. The interior features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a 2,000-square-foot solarium with glass ceilings and walls. The solarium serves as the main living area, incorporating the kitchen, living room, and dining area. A hydraulic elevator provides access from the ground level to the sixth floor, with stairs leading to the remaining levels. Falcon's Nest also incorporates passive solar technologies and alternative power, heating, and cooling sources, reflecting a commitment to sustainable living.
