    From Thumb Butte Recreation Area, head east on Thumb Butte Rd toward Ruth St. Turn right onto Ruth St, then turn left onto Sherwood Dr. Continue on Sherwood Dr until you reach Stricklin Park at 1751 Sherwood Dr. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

    While public transportation options directly to Stricklin Park are limited, Yavapai Regional Transit (YRT) provides bus service in the Prescott area. Take the first exit onto Rosser St, then after a short distance, turn right onto Sherwood Dr. Continue straight until you reach 1751 Sherwood Dr, which is Stricklin Park. There is no cost for parking in the park.
