From Thumb Butte Recreation Area, head east on Thumb Butte Rd toward Ruth St. Turn right onto Ruth St, then turn left onto Sherwood Dr. Continue on Sherwood Dr until you reach Stricklin Park at 1751 Sherwood Dr. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.

From AZ-89, turn onto AZ-89A S and continue until you reach the intersection with Willow Creek Rd. Turn left onto Willow Creek Rd and follow it until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rosser St, then after a short distance, turn right onto Sherwood Dr. Continue straight until you reach 1751 Sherwood Dr, which is Stricklin Park. There is no cost for parking in the park.
