Getting There

  • Car

    From the Saguaro National Park visitor center, head west on E. Broadway Blvd. for approximately 6 miles. Merge onto I-10 N toward Phoenix. Continue on I-10 N for about 10 miles, then take exit 257 for I-10 Business Loop toward Tucson. Follow the signs for E. 22nd St. and merge onto E. 22nd St. After 2 miles, turn left onto N. Alvernon Way. Continue on N. Alvernon Way for about 3 miles. Turn right onto E. River Rd. and in approximately 1 mile, you will arrive at Rillito River Park.

  • Public Transportation

    From the Saguaro National Park, take the Sun Tran bus #19 (East) from the nearest bus stop to the park entrance. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at the stop at E. River Rd. and N. Alvernon Way. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles east on E. River Rd. to reach Rillito River Park. Be sure to check the Sun Tran schedule for the latest bus times, as services may vary.
