    From the intersection of University Boulevard and 4th Avenue, walk west on University Boulevard towards 5th Avenue. Turn left onto 5th Avenue and walk south. The Historic Y will be on your right at 738 N 5th Ave. This walk takes approximately 15 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Sun Tran bus. Board the nearest Route 3 bus heading north on 4th Avenue. Ride for three stops and get off at 6th Street and 5th Avenue. Walk south on 5th Avenue for one block; The Historic Y will be on your right at 738 N 5th Ave. Tucson public transport is currently fare-free.

  • Taxi/Ride-share

    From downtown Tucson, a taxi or ride-share to The Historic Y will cost approximately $12-$20. The ride is about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask your driver to take you to 738 N 5th Ave, at the corner of University Boulevard and 5th Avenue.

  • Driving

    The main approaches to The Historic Y are from Speedway (3 blocks north), 6th Street (3 blocks south), Stone and 6th Avenues (1 and 3 blocks west), and Euclid (6 blocks east). Limited parking is available in the lot behind the building, accessed from Herbert Avenue. Street parking is also available, but be sure to read all posted signs for restrictions. Metered parking along 4th Avenue costs $1 per hour, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. It is free after 5 PM and on weekends.
