Getting There

• Public Bus

  To reach Brown’s Ranch Trailhead, start by finding the nearest Valley Metro bus stop in Scottsdale. You can take the Route 56 bus heading north. Get off at the stop near N Pima Rd & E Pinnacle Peak Rd. From there, walk north on N Pima Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Alma School Pkwy. Turn left onto N Alma School Pkwy and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. The trailhead will be on your right.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown Scottsdale. Head north on N Scottsdale Rd towards E Pinnacle Peak Rd. After about 2 miles, turn right onto E Pinnacle Peak Rd and continue until you reach N Alma School Pkwy. Turn right again and follow the road for about 0.5 miles. Brown’s Ranch Trailhead will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking laws.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, start from the Scottsdale Waterfront area. Walk north along the Arizona Canal Trail, which will take you towards N Pima Rd. Once you reach N Pima Rd, turn right and continue walking until you reach E Pinnacle Peak Rd. Turn left and walk until you hit N Alma School Pkwy. Finally, turn left onto N Alma School Pkwy, and after about 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Brown’s Ranch Trailhead on your right.

• Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

  If you prefer a more direct option, use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Open the app and set your destination to 30301 N Alma School Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85262. The driver will take you directly to the Brown’s Ranch Trailhead. Be sure to check the estimated wait time and fare before confirming your ride.
