To reach the Rosson House Museum at Heritage Square from anywhere in Scottsdale, begin by finding the nearest Valley Metro Light Rail station. The closest station to Scottsdale is the Scottsdale Waterfront station. Board the light rail heading towards the 'Downtown Phoenix' direction. Stay on the train for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Central Ave & Van Buren' stop. Once you exit the train, walk north on Central Avenue for about 5 blocks until you reach East Washington Street. Turn left on East Washington and continue walking until you reach North 6th Street. Turn right onto North 6th Street and the Rosson House Museum will be located on your left at 113 N 6th St.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, start by locating a Valley Metro bus stop near your location in Scottsdale. You can take the Route 72 bus, which travels towards 'Phoenix Central'. Board the bus and ride for about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Request to stop at '6th St & Monroe St'. From the bus stop, walk south on North 6th Street for two blocks. The Rosson House Museum will be located at 113 N 6th St on your right.

If you are staying in Downtown Scottsdale, you can enjoy a pleasant walk to the Rosson House Museum. Start from the Scottsdale Waterfront and head west towards the Arizona Canal. Follow the canal north until you reach East Camelback Road. Turn left on Camelback and head west until you reach North 7th Avenue. Turn right and continue until you hit East Washington Street. Turn left on East Washington and then right on North 6th Street. The museum is at 113 N 6th St on your left. The walk will take about 45 minutes but offers a great view of the area.
