If you are starting from the Sedona City Center, head north on N State Route 89A. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Schnebly Hill Road. Continue on this road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the Bear Mountain trailhead. The trailhead is marked and has a parking area, but since you are walking, you will be following the road. Ensure you have enough water and wear appropriate hiking gear.
Biking
From the Sedona City Center, rent a bike from a local shop. Head north on N State Route 89A for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Schnebly Hill Road. Continue biking for about 2 miles until you reach the Bear Mountain trailhead. The trailhead is clearly marked, and you can secure your bike at the bike rack provided there.

Walk north on N State Route 89A and then take the trail that branches off to the right onto the hiking path leading to Bear Mountain. This path will take you through beautiful landscapes and will eventually lead you directly to the Bear Mountain peak.
